Antonio Kamel, MS, PA-C

ORTHOPAEDIC PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Antonio Kamel, MS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a focus in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. He completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Wagner College, where his clinical training emphasized musculoskeletal care and surgical practice.

Antonio evaluates and manages the full spectrum of orthopaedic complaints, from acute sports injuries and fractures to overuse conditions, cartilage and ligament damage, arthritis, and chronic joint pain. His visits center on a thorough hands-on exam, straightforward explanation of the findings, and a treatment plan built around each patient’s goals — including bracing, injections, and other in-office procedures.

Alongside his clinic schedule, Antonio assists our surgeons in the operating room and follows his patients from the first consultation through the final stage of rehabilitation. He believes the best outcomes come from listening closely, setting realistic expectations, and pairing proven orthopaedic technique with genuine attention to the person in front of him.

Appointments are available in West Orange, East Rutherford and Paramus  locations.

Working With Our Surgical Team

Collaborative, Surgeon-Supervised Care.

Antonio works in close coordination with Dr. Oladapo Babatunde, MD, FAAOS, City Orthopaedics’ board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, from the first evaluation through the operating room and every follow-up visit after. He assists Dr. Babatunde directly in surgery, then continues managing each patient’s care through recovery, so nothing gets lost in the handoff between the exam room and the OR. Patients seeing Antonio are seeing a provider who already knows their case, their surgeon’s plan, and what comes next.
