I give my highest recommendation to Dr. Babatunde and the staff at City Orthopedics. Dr. B listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to deliver excellent care. I mentioned I was worried about scarring and he took this seriously, employing a minimally invasive approach that left behind the tiniest of scars. 2 weeks post-op & the surgical site looks great. Very grateful to him, the other providers, and the rest of the team for making it a wonderful experience start to finish. From consultation to post-op recovery I can confidently say this is the best surgical experience I've had.

God definitely blessed me the day he allowed me to meet Dr. Babatunde. I was living life with excruciating hip pain that enabled me from enjoying life. This Doctor and his team have magical hands. Dr. Babatunde made me feel very safe and cared for during my entire time throughout my surgery journey. I would like to thank all of the front desk ladies that assisted me with my job related work papers and patiently provided the help needed. Dr. Babatunde is not only a very intelligent caring supportive and highly professional in what he does best but he is the person that completely changed my life for the better. I booked an in-network consultation through ZocDoc with the clear purpose of receiving a follow-up evaluation and a hyaluronic acid injection for my knee. Before my appointment, the assistant called me, confirmed the reason for the visit, and was informed that I had a recent MRI and an orthopedic evaluation from Italy.
During the visit, the assistant did not review my MRI on site and simply reiterated the questions I had already answered. No medical assessment or care was provided. Shortly after, I discovered that the clinic submitted the claim under a different out-of-network provider, resulting in a $500 charge, despite the appointment having been booked and confirmed as in-network.
When the clinic later called me, they insisted my MRI was “not good enough” and that I needed to repeat all tests. This contradicts the professional evaluation I had already received. It became clear that the focus was not on patient care but on generating additional billable procedures.
I have filed a claim with my insurance, as this billing practice is unacceptable. Patients deserve transparency, professionalism, and respect ,none of which I experienced here.
I hope the clinic reviews these practices, because trust in healthcare is built through ethical behavior, not through unexpected billing and disregard for patient needs.
